This is a project for people to report observations about the natural world and check in to see if others are reporting them as well.  The idea is to generate anecdotal evidence of climate change (or a lack thereof) A very cool project!  It's a spin off of the great radio program iSeeChange.

The Age of Wonder  by Richard Holmes  (a description is here)
This wonderful, brilliant book takes a look at several scientists and their work during the Romantic Era.  It offers characters and stories and a look at the origin of some of modern scientific processes.  Some sections were more interesting to me than others, but I highly recommend this book!  It takes a look at the past, but, I thought, also offers a reminder of why we sometimes think the way we do.  Should we change how we address certain things or not?  I came away inspired to consider how we look at and conduct science.
